Description

A vibrant and versatile vegetable fried rice bursting with flavors and textures, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering but not smoking.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Push the vegetables to one side and add the cold cooked rice on the opposite side.
  5. Pour the soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice, mixing everything together.
  6. Stir in sliced green onions and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Use day-old rice for the best texture. Customize with any vegetables you have on hand.
